October 1, 2009

Hello everyone,

We finally have a court date. It will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. Most of you will still be sleeping. Our facilitator and translator are also working on getting the 10 day waiting period waived. They would not make any promises in regards to this yet, and they say it does happen, but not very often. This would mean when we come home we would have Bogdan with us and not have to return. This would really be an answered prayer but we will not know until Tuesday after the court hearing.

The children were in a high energy mood today and Bogdan was no exception. We are getting a child that can out run us, out jump us, and argue with us in two different languages.

We are praying for the school as well as the other request we receive through email.

In His Name,

Charles and Lisa

  1. We will agree in prayer with you for the waiting period to be waived. I sent your note above out to everyone's email I have at Parkview just incase some cant see it here. We are all - church wide - so excited with you. Really praying hard that you get to come home with him. Knowing that God is in control of all of the details makes it eaiser to rest in Him! AI pray peace for you and joy for the trip ahead. I pray you find favor with the judge or whoever you have to go before at the hearing. I love you both. Know that many prayers are going up to the Father for you. Love, Vicki

  2. By the way - This statment "We are getting a child that can out run us, out jump us, and argue with us in two different languages." made me laugh outloud!! I know now that you are thankful that you had all that practice with James in Children's Church this summer!! You are more than able to deal with all the jumping and the running and probably even the argueing!!LOL I love ya, Vicki
